Novel

This book is a collection containing two stories in the genres of Science Fiction and Psychological Thriller, totaling at 213 pages. I created the entirety of the literary work. I brainstormed and drafted the stories, edited the entirety of the book and formatted the pages for print. I distributed the work across publishers and e-commerce websites for purchase.

Side note:

Each story used to have their own cover until I combined them together into one book. I utilized illustrations I created from Card Deck One for the front and back cover to create an eye-catching book. Everyone says "don't judge a book by its cover" but this book has gotten a lot more interest with the new vs. original designs.

Timeline:

I began writing the first story after dreaming of it the night before New Year's (January 1, 2020). The second book was inspired by the Jewel Cave National Monument, which I visited in June 27 of 2021. I completed both books and published them as a set on July 7 of 2023.

If there was one thing I would change:

It would be the back cover of the book. I should note that it is fine as-is when purchased online because readers can browse the synopsis listed on the e-commerce websites. However, I have found in real life, by not having a description on the back, you have to explain the stories to every potential customer. I created a temporary solution for this by creating a display for each synopsis.

In the collection of photos you will find a picture of the synopsis display. Within it, you will find a collection of AI generated imagery to showcase the storylines. I prompted AI image generation software to create scenes one could imagine while reading this book. It should be noted that all other images used and provided are by me, not via AI.
